	Eldon Estep , a member for the past year of SSAUG, is the winner of the Adobe software drawing. Congratulations, Eldon! We look forward to hearing all about your new projects and skill sets. Eldon chose the Design Suite CS4. You, too, can be eligible for the next drawing by attending meetings, sharing projects, bringing friends or a "treat" to share. Earn extra chances in the drawing with any of the above activities.
	Our program for February 8th is Jason Fruchter presenting on animation. Yes, he draws his cartoon characters using Flash and then animates them. You have probably seen his work without knowing it. Like a lot of animators they are behind the scenes creating the art and animation. When you read his bio you will see just how long this artist has been plying his trade and keeping current with the technology. He recognized earlier than some that the old way of shooting film to make animation was become replaced by computer driven applications... such as Flash. We hope you will spread the word to friends who like to cartoon or illustrate that this program will hit on many topics that could be of interest to them. Our region of the country is rich with talent and we are very blessed to have exlemplary artist right in our backyard.	Click here for a PDF about our program and presentor.

Visit one of our publishers' websites and find a book you'd enjoy. Contact Paula and place your order with the book number, author, book title and publisher: it will be ordered and brought in for you to review. Read and write a review in 60 days and receive the book as a thank you.

Our membership is encouraged to review books that they have an interest in. For their timely review they are given the book. Paula Varner will be co-ordinating this venture.
